Having a design business had always been a dream of Kelly Blose’s since graduating from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in graphic design. After college Kelly relocated to Seattle and began working in a letterpress studio, learning everything about the craft and developing her skills as a designer and printer. In the spring of 2016, the Air Force relocated Kelly’s husband, a pilot, from Seattle to Wichita Falls, Texas. Faced with the prospect of leaving Seattle and her job, Kelly and her husband bought a refurbished Chandler and Price and brought it to Wichita Falls. By the fall of 2016 KB Paperie had been founded and the first of their greeting cards were coming off press. To this day all letterpress printing in still done in house.
